Situated in the heart of the North East, the hub of Italian industrial excellence, and a forge of innovative ideas and visionary entrepreneurial projects, Padova reaffirms itself as a city rich in stimuli and surprises.

Padua, “Urbs Picta”, the city of frescoes, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. A short walk from the fair, the famous Scrovegni Chapel (1303-1305), an absolute masterpiece by Giotto and universal painting.

A little further, the “system of Squares” with the monumental Palazzo della Ragione and the Salone, the world’s largest completely frescoed raised hall, and the “Sottosalone”, a thousand years of high gastronomy.

Following that, in Piazza Duomo, the Baptistery, a fourteenth-century masterpiece by Giusto de’ Menabuoi. Art and devotion to the Saint (Basilica of Saint Anthony) with works by Giotto, Altichiero da Zevio, Giusto de’ Menabuoi, Donatello.

Paduan science is represented by the Botanical Garden, another UNESCO heritage site, founded in 1545 and expanded in 2014, and the Musme, a multimedia and interactive museum of the history of medicine.

Among the sites of architectural and urban value are Prato della Valle and Caffè Pedrocchi, a famous historical café.

Just outside Padua: the Riviera del Brenta, with its Venetian Villas; the wellness centers of the Euganean Spas in Abano and Montegrotto, the Prosecco Tour, between Valdobbiadene and Vittorio Veneto.

Finally, Venice, another world. A 20-minute train ride away, the “most beautiful city in the world” presents itself with all its countless treasures.
