In the heart of the Veneto region (Italy), Padua is an extraordinary city that brings together historical tradition, culture, business and innovation. Well connected to the main motorway routes, the Fiera di Padova is easily accessible by car or train.

The train station is only 500 metres away.

By train

Padua is easily reached by train. It is 2 hours from Milan, 1.5 hours from Bologna and only 20 minutes from Vicenza and Venice. The station is about 500 metres from the Fiera.

By car

For those travelling on the Milan-Venice motorway (A4), the exit is Padova Est; then follow the signs for the Fiera. Travelling along the Bologna-Padova motorway (A13), the exit is Padova Sud.

By plane

The nearest airport is Marco Polo Airport in Tessera. From Venice Airport you can reach Padua in the following ways.

  • by taxi, journey time about 40-50 minutes, via RADIOTAXI: call 049 651333 at least 24 hours in advance to book a collective taxi (www.taxipadova.it)
  • by bus, there is a bus service that leaves every half hour from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and at different times on public holidays from the airport to the Padua bus station
  • by train, there is a bus service from the airport to the Mestre train station.
